Dark Crystal OC family
Followed up on my previous artwork of Leydan with her family: her husband and three children. This was fun to do and I was going through a little bit of artblock/frustration so it helped me ease out and keep the pen warm, so to say. They had been living rent-free in my head for a long time anyway. Characters are part of the Dark Crystal universe, set some time before the events of Age of Resistance.
Ronan, the eldest child, during his stay in Sog, and respectively Ha'rar. He made himself a fringe to cover his forehead ridges. Kind and responsible, loves to read and write a lot.
Melli, the youngest child, a bit of an airhead, the sunshine of the family with a passion for botany and herbal medicine.
Yarra, middle-child, takes most after her mother, but less on the warrior side . She rather enjoys exploring the outdoors, connecting with nature and cooking for her family.
Manni, Leydan's loving husband, Spriton farmer with a heart of gold and knowledgeable in the ways of the land, but heavily a dumbass. We still love him though.
Not all the children inherited their father's good hair genes.
